"Weiss" is the makers mark of Albert Weiss, who founded his own costume jewelry company in 1942. Weiss excelled in floral and figural brooches and earrings. Only in business for 29 years, Weiss jewelry is considered rare due to the short amount of time in business. Weiss was an American costume jewelry company located in New York City.

Lola Florence Hawaii offers her Vintage Collection as a plentiful collection with bespoke, treasured finds. The Rhinestone jewelry within the line is a nod to old Hollywood glamour. Each Rhinestone piece is made with authentic antique rhinestone jewelry dating from the 1930's to 1960's, which become the foundation for a new & uncommon design. The Rhinestone works in her Vintage Collection are influenced by the designer’s experience working with Dame Elizabeth Taylor. Lola had the privilege of working for Dame Elizabeth Taylor & Kathy Ireland at House of Taylor Jewelry in Hollywood, which was an enormous honor and solidified her appreciation for decadent fine jewelry. Couture Fine Jewelry from the past and present is the driving force behind her designs, as her use & pairing of colors, combined with a degree of difficulty not commonly found in beaded jewelry, is what sets her designs apart. Lola’s rhinestone work reflects her intimate involvement with the renowned star’s “love affair with jewelry.”

‘It was an honor to work for the late Dame. For many years I’ve had the privilege of working in the fine jewelry industry while simultaneously working on my own line. I’ve been fortunate to surround myself with the most exquisite jewelry at every opportunity. This has made me the person, artist, & designer I am today. The evolution of Lola Florence Hawai’i in on-going, as I allow my experiences, past & present, to guide me. I invite you to join me on this journey. Aloha & Enjoy!
